PROFILE INTRODUCTION Our client, an international non -governmental organization seeks to bring on board a Data Engineering Analyst, Digital & Data Information Technology. The role will provide support to the Head of Data Management in maintaining and improving the Foundation's data pipelines, systems, and infrastructure. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that high -quality, well -managed data is available for analysis, decision -making, and impact measurement. The Analyst will work closely with the Data Governance, Data Operations, and Analytics teams to help build a reliable, compliant, and scalable data environment across the Foundation.ROLES AND RESPONSPONSIBILITIES Ways You Can Contribute: · Data Pipeline Support: Assist in the development, testing, and monitoring of data pipelines and workflows under guidance from senior engineers.· Data Integration: Help consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources into the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), ensuring consistency and accuracy.· Data Quality Assurance: Conduct validation checks, identify errors or anomalies, and help ensure that data meets the Foundation's standards for accuracy and completeness.· Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, transformation logic, and metadata to ensure transparency and continuity.· Collaboration: Work with cross -functional teams to support data requirements for analytics, reporting, and operational systems.· Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging tools and best practices in data engineering, governance, and ethical AI to support continuous improvement of data systems. RequirementsWho You Are:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.· 1–2 years' experience (including internships) in data engineering, data operations, or data management.· Basic understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud environments (Azure preferred).· Familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar tools for data manipulation.· Detail -oriented with strong analytical and problem -solving skills.· Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn from senior data professionals.· Demonstrated commitment to the Foundation's mission of enabling dignified and fulfilling work for young people in Africa.
