Odoo Technical Expert
to help us transform a growing
liquor store business
into a fully integrated, data-driven enterprise.

What You'll Do

You'll take the lead in shaping how Odoo supports our retail and online operations. Specifically, you'll:

  • Configure and customize Odoo modules (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, eCommerce, etc.) to fit our liquor store workflows.
  • Develop and test
    API integrations
    with third-party platforms — think POS systems, payment gateways, and e-commerce tools.
  • Create smart automations that make operations seamless between the
    physical store and online shop
    .
  • Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data flows smoothly across all touchpoints.
  • Work closely with our leadership team to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years
    of hands-on Odoo development and customization experience (Odoo 14+).
  • Strong skills in
    Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL
    .
  • Proven track record building
    Odoo API integrations
    with external tools.
  • Comfortable working in
    Linux
    environments and with
    Git
    version control.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you enjoy autonomy, rapid iteration, and building solutions from scratch.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with
    retail or e-commerce
    Odoo setups.
  • Familiarity with
    Kenyan payment gateways
    (MPESA, PayPal, etc.).
  • Understanding of
    Kenyan tax and POS systems
    .
  • Eye for design or UX when customizing Odoo eCommerce.
