We're seeking a
GenAI Specialist / Developer
with strong
Java proficiency
, full-stack expertise, and a passion for low-code/no-code solutions. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, this role offers the opportunity to design and deliver transformative AI-driven applications while working in a collaborative, forward-thinking team.

Responsibilities

• Java-Centric Development
  : Design, build, and maintain full-stack solutions with a strong backend focus in Java (Spring Boot or similar), integrating with GenAI technologies and APIs.
• Generative AI Solutions
  : Develop and optimize AI-enabled applications using platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, and other LLM ecosystems.
• Low-Code/No-Code Enablement
  : Collaborate with business and technical teams to create solutions on low-code/no-code platforms, enabling faster adoption and scalability.
• API Development & Integration
  : Design and manage APIs to connect applications and external services within the GenAI ecosystem.
• Innovation & Problem Solving
  : Deliver tailored, client-focused solutions that address unique business challenges.
• Continuous Learning
  : Stay ahead of industry trends in GenAI, Java frameworks, and modern full-stack practices, contributing to the evolution of Wise & Agile's service offerings.

Skills Required

• Strong background as a
  full-stack developer
  with proven
  Java proficiency
  (Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks).
• Hands-on experience with
  GenAI-powered applications
  and LLM technologies.
• Proficiency in
  API design, development, and integration
  .
• Familiarity with
  low-code/no-code platforms
  and best practices for deployment.
• Exposure to GenAI ecosystems (OpenAI, Claude, n8n, LangChain, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with
  microservices architecture
  and Java deployment best practices.
• Knowledge of
  cloud platforms
  (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying AI-driven applications.
• Familiarity with
  LangChain, Haystack, or vector databases
  for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience in
  AI product testing, governance, or model observability
  .
• Contributions to
  open-source GenAI projects
  or internal AI tooling.
