VACANCIES ON THE FINNLEMM SACCO NOMINATIONS/VETTING COMMITTEE
Finnlemm Sacco is a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Regulated by SASRA, deriving its members from the employees of Diplomatic Missions, Non-Governmental Organizations and their affiliates. It was formed in 1982 by local employees of the then Lemminkäinen Construction Company in conjunction with local employees of the Finnish Embassy.

During the Sacco's Annual General Meeting (AGM), four positions fall vacant (one on the Supervisory Committee and three on the Board of Directors). Candidates interested in filling the vacancies apply to the Nominations/Vetting Committee for clearance prior to the AGM.

Finnlemm Sacco's election policy and rules establish a Nomination/Vetting Committee to undertake the following duties:

i) To receive the applications for contesting candidates;

ii) To vet, assess suitability of applicants and make recommendations on the suitability of the applicants based on the Act, Rules, Regulations, Finnlemm Sacco By-Laws, Election Policy and any other applicable law;

iii) To receive and determine appeals if any;

iv) To present committee report to the Sacco board containing cleared candidates and other recommendations;

v) Present the nominated candidates to the Finnlemm AGM for election purposes

vi) Propose from time to time to the board of directors of the Sacco, changes to the elections policy to keep in tandem with the changing times

Finnlemm Sacco is seeking to fill three vacancies on the Nominations/Vetting Committee.

The applicant, who should not be a member of Finnlemm Sacco Society and who must be a member of a professional body recognized in Kenya and in good standing, to submit the following:

(i) Application letter

(ii) Copy of the national ID card/valid passport

(iii) Current certificate of good conduct

(iv) Current KRA Tax compliance certificate

(v) HELB clearance certificate

(vi) Updated Curriculum Vitae

(vii) Copies of academic and professional certificates certified by a Commissioner of Oaths
