we are seeking a
results-driven External Debt Management & Collections Officer
to join its growing team.

This role is
purely focused on debt collection on behalf of our clients
, ensuring professional recovery, strong debtor engagement, and compliance with legal and ethical standards.

What You'll Do

Execute
debt recovery activities on behalf of clients
, using calls, emails, letters, and field visits to engage debtors and secure payments.

Conduct skip tracing, investigations, and background checks to locate debtors and assess their financial capacity.

Negotiate repayment arrangements while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

Generate and share
debt collection status reports
with clients and internal teams, detailing payments, balances, and follow-up actions.

Raise and submit
fee notes within 72 hours
of successful recovery and coordinate with the Finance team for timely billing and reconciliation.

Ensure strict compliance with all
debt collection laws, consumer protection regulations, and confidentiality policies.

Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates, insights, and recommendations on performing, unrecoverable, and escalated debts.

Collaborate with the
Dispute Resolution Department
to escalate cases requiring litigation.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.

Proven experience in
external debt collection or credit recovery services.

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with a persuasive communication style.

Detail-oriented, with excellent documentation and reporting skills.

High levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Ability to work independently, meet targets, and handle multiple portfolios efficiently.
