We are expanding our Country Reporter Network, and we want
you
to be part of it

As a
Country Reporter
, you will contribute legal intelligence and practical insights from your jurisdiction to Africa's most comprehensive data protection knowledge base. Your contributions will help shape how professionals understand regulatory and judicial developments in your country, while building visibility for your expertise.

What You will Do

  • Track and report new laws, policies, and sector-specific guidelines on data protection and privacy.
  • Contribute case summaries and link to authoritative sources.
  • Review and highlight appellate court decisions impacting privacy, technology, or AI governance.
  • Provide expert commentary or practice notes on emerging data governance issues.
  • Collaborate with the DataHub editorial team to ensure consistency and insight quality.

Qualifications

  • Background in data protection, privacy law, information governance, or related field.
  • Based in (or deeply familiar with) an African jurisdiction.
  • Interest in legal research, compliance, or regulatory tracking.
  • Passionate about building Africa's legal intelligence ecosystem and sharing insights that matter.
  • Knowledge of the legal landscape in your country is a plus
  • Applicants outside of Kenya are strongly encouraged to apply
