Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Instrumentation and Controls Technician based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation and control systems. Daily responsibilities will include conducting preventive maintenance, calibrating instruments, ensuring operational efficiency of electrical systems, and addressing control system issues. The technician will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience in Instrumentation and Calibration to ensure precision and effective system performance.
  • Knowledge of Electricity and related components for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ability to understand and interpret control system diagrams and related technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities under operational conditions.
  • Technical training or certification in instrumentation, electrical systems, or a related field.
  • Work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
