The role holder is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the bank's database infrastructure. This role encompasses the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of database systems, including storage, operating systems, and backup solutions. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to support business-critical applications and regulato

ryc

omplance.

Mai Duties

  1. Design, implement, and maintain robust database systems to meet performance, scalability, and a

vai

labilitytargets.

  1. Develop and enforce capacity management procedures to ensure databases operate within

efined tresholds.

  1. Monitor and manage database availability, service recovery, and incident resolution in line with SLAs a

nd

establishe policies.

  1. Ensure database security through implementation of policies, controls, and infrastructure safeguards against data loss, corruption, a

n

d unauthorzed access.

  1. Plan, design, and execute database projects aligned with business requirements, ensuring timely deliv

ery

and optimalperformance.

  1. Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, operating proc

e

dures, and cange records.

  1. Research emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to enhance databa

se

architecture ad performance.

  1. Engage and manage relationships with third-party vendors to address database requirements, u

grades, and tehnical support.

  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align database strategies with organizational objectives and ensure seamless

gration with buiness processes.

Minimum

qu

alification and xperience required


• Bachelor's degree in information technol

ogy

, Computer Science,or a related field.


• Professional certifications such as Oracle DBA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, AWS Certified Database, ITIL, OCA

,

OCP, OCM, or PostgeSQL certifications.


• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT with hands-on expertise

in

database administraton or a similar role.


• Proficiency in major database platforms (

e

.g., Oracle, SQL Servr, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
