About the Role

We are seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to join our innovative cybersecurity team. In this role, you will develop cutting-edge systems that enable machines to analyse and interpret visual data, supporting applications such as surveillance, threat detection and forensic investigations. You will work on projects that enhance security monitoring, automate visual threat analysis and contribute to research-driven cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for security and surveillance applications.
  • Build and optimize image and video processing pipelines to detect anomalies, threats or patterns.
  • Develop and deploy object detection, recognition and tracking systems for cybersecurity use cases.
  • Apply deep learning models (CNNs, YOLO, ResNet) for automated visual analysis.
  • Optimize models for real-time performance in monitoring and forensic systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision solutions into cybersecurity platforms.
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision techniques relevant to security applications.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in computer vision and image/video processing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Solid foundation in linear algebra, signal processing and deep learning architectures (CNNs, ResNet, YOLO).
  • Experience with image annotation and dataset creation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D computer vision and point cloud processing.
  • Knowledge of edge deployment and real-time optimisation.
  • Familiarity with augmented reality (AR) or security-focused visual applications.
  • Previous work in cybersecurity monitoring, surveillance or forensics is a plus.
