We are seeking a diligent and detail -oriented clerical accountant with a strong audit background to support our finance team in the steel and aluminum manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will handle accounts payable and receivable, perform data entry, and contribute strategic financial insights to improve processes and compliance. This role demands a high level of proficiency in Excel, a solid grasp of accounting principles and government regulations, and experience using modern accounting software. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and on timeMaintain proper records of financial transactions and support timely data entryPrepare reconciliations of ledgers, bank accounts, and vendor statementsAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsCollaborate in internal audits and support external audit processesEnsure compliance with relevant government regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirementsUtilize and maintain accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage) to process transactionsAnalyze financial data and suggest strategies for cost optimization and efficiencyPrepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets for budgeting, cash flows, and financial analysisContribute to improving and automating clerical accounting processesSupport inventory and procurement finance functions where neededRequirements Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 2–4 years of experience, strictly in audit and/or metal manufacturing industryProven experience in handling accounts payable and receivableProficient in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools)Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and government compliance in manufacturingExperience with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or SageStrong analytical thinking and ability to propose practical financial strategiesHigh attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with sensitive informationCPA Part II or higher is an added advantageFamiliarity with manufacturing accounting procedures and costingExperience working in a fast -paced industrial or production environment If you meet the above qualifications, send your application letter quoting your gross salary expectation and resume to ;\/span> before the 21st of May 2025 with the subject line "Clerical Accountant."or apply on our website  Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the interviews.
