Job Brief

An opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and well-organized Accountant to join a laundry establishment in Ruiru, to offer support for our accounting and finance functions.

You will be responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing assistance with other accounting and finance tasks as required.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, be adept at working with numerical data.

Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including reviewing and entering invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts.
  • File tax returns
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including journal entries, general ledgers, and financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Respond to vendor and client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to vendors and clients.
Requirements:
  • CPA Part 1
  • 2 years' experience in accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: Gross Salary Kes 20,000 per month

Location: The position is located in Ruiru. Applicants must live in Ruiru or its environs.
