What is Expected of You
As our Director of Sales, you'll be a driving force behind revenue growth, market expansion, and high-performing sales teams as we scale food fortification across Africa. This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to lead a mission-driven commercial strategy, build and strengthen partnerships with millers, and deliver lasting change in communities through sustainable, high-impact sales. You'll collaborate with a passionate team to deploy solutions that directly improve lives and accelerate our mission.
How You'll Deliver Impact
- Lead and empower the sales team to achieve revenue and market-growth targets while strengthening customer relationships and delivering commercial excellence.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with millers, distributors, and key market stakeholders to expand product reach and drive adoption.
- Oversee sales operations, ensuring that customer support, product delivery, and service processes run efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Monitor sales data and market performance, using insights to identify growth opportunities, address bottlenecks, and guide decision-making.
- Ensure all sales regions and customer touchpoints are well-managed, properly resourced, and aligned with Sanku's commercial standards.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, KPIs, and budgets that drive sustainable revenue growth and optimize cost efficiency.
- Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to strengthen commercial processes, improve customer experience, and scale effectively.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates, ensuring accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of work experience, with 5+ years leading country-level sales implementation and market launch initiatives.
- Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration (Master's Degree preferred) or any other related field.
- Experience working in international/multicultural settings, navigating complicated issues involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working in data-driven settings.
