Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for the following accounting functions: balance sheet substantiation, instituting of financial controls, general ledger integrity, audit coordination, financial statement preparation, reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation of control accounts, tax compliance and functions relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger.
QualificationsType of Qualification: First Degree
- Finance and Accounting or equivalent
- Professional Certification: CPA (K)/ ACCA or equivalent
Experience Required
Financial/Statutory Accounting
3 years
- Accounting, financial reporting, and financial controls experience in a large financial institution or a reputable audit firm.
- Financial statements external audit experience in banking.
- Working knowledge of accounting software. (Knowledge of SAP, Model Bank (T24)
- Extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
