Role Description

We are seeking a Junior Engineer to join our team in Nairobi County, Kenya. This role focuses on supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security and safety systems including Access Control (door locks, walk-through detectors, barriers), Fire & Safety systems, Audio Visual (AV), and Background Music (BGM) solutions. The Junior Engineer will assist in implementing projects, troubleshooting technical issues, documenting installations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions to clients.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience and strong interest in Access Control, Fire & Safety, Audio Visual (AV), and BGM systems.

Good knowledge of ICT infrastructure and electronics.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.

Relevant certifications in ICT, Electrical Engineering, or related fields are an advantage.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Previous experience in a similar role is key.
