If you are up for the challenge, we promise an incredible experience and an unparalleled opportunity to work with extremely motivated individuals, accomplished entrepreneurs, and founders of future startup successes.Core Responsibilities Grow Antler's visibility & reach:Drive content creation, partnerships, events, and marketing initiatives to build Antler's presence in Kenya and East AfricaOwn Antler's event calendar, including planning, content preparations, and executionPromote Antler at relevant workshops, events, and gatheringsBuild and lead relationships with relevant communities and UniversitiesDrive Antler's scouting activities for top-notch founders:Identify and engage high-potential founders through outreach, events, partnerships, and community buildingManage the founder selection process end to end, including founder/startup application screening, interviewing, and onboardingLead and coach a strong team of first-round interviewersContinuously improve Antler's founder selection processes and frameworksResidency support:Support founders during the Antler residency, with special attention to critical areas such as co-founder matching and team formationLead select masterclasses during the residencyAssist with other matters as required and as they occurCore Expertise 5-10 years of work experience in a fast paced, high-performance cultureFirst-hand startup experience, either in a founder or senior team rolePrevious experience from management consulting and/or investing is a plusMinimum bachelor's degree from an accredited UniversityCore Attributes Well-connected in the local startup ecosystemExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsIndependent and proactive with a focus on execution and results orientation Comfortable with ambiguity, quick changes, tight deadlines, and moving targetsThe Antler Proposition Support founders in building the next generation of disruptive companies that will define the next wave of tech in Africa and beyondAn opportunity to build investment track record and enter VCAn opportunity to greatly impact the direction and success of Antler in AfricaPracticalitiesLocation: Nairobi, KenyaRenumeration: To be discussed based on candidate's experiencesStart date: ASAP
