You will be responsible for developing and producing engaging, high-quality video and social media content that communicates the brand's offerings and tells its story creatively and authentically. The role requires a confident, outspoken, and camera-ready individual who can ideate, script, record, and edit videos for multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate has strong communication and presentation skills, understands storytelling and cinematography, and is passionate about creating content that builds audience connection, drives engagement, and enhances brand visibility.
Primary Job Description
Content Creation & Storytelling
Develop and produce creative video content that aligns with the brand's objectives and voice.
- Create short-form and long-form videos, reels, and behind-the-scenes content showcasing the brand's products, services, and culture.
- Script, film, and edit engaging content that tells compelling stories about the brand, its people, and its customers.
- Generate fresh content ideas based on current social media trends, challenges, and audience interests.
2.Video Production & Cinematography
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for different digital platforms using professional equipment or mobile setups.
- Ensure all video and audio outputs meet brand standards for clarity, quality, and consistency.
- Manage lighting, sound, and visual composition during filming sessions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on creative concepts, storyboards, and production schedules.
3.Social Media Content Management
- Post, monitor, and engage with audiences across social media platforms.
- Ensure content is tailored for platform specifications (aspect ratio, duration, captioning, tagging).
- Analyze content performance and optimize based on insights (views, engagement, reach, conversions).
- Stay current with digital and social media trends to maintain brand relevance and creativity.
4.Brand Communication & Representation
- Serve as one of the brand's on-camera personalities — confident, engaging, and professional.
- Communicate brand messages clearly and persuasively in videos and live content.
- Participate in brand campaigns, interviews, promotional events, and digital activations.
- Uphold the brand's tone, identity, and values in all public-facing communication.
Secondary Job Description
- Collaborate with graphic designers and copywriters to align visual and written content for campaigns.
- Support photography needs for marketing materials and social media posts.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns.
- Maintain an organized library of video and photo assets.
- Assist in planning and coordinating content shoots, including location scouting, talent coordination, and production logistics.
- Support live streaming, event coverage, and influencer collaborations.
- Provide feedback on audience engagement and content strategies to improve reach and impact.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, copyright laws, and content usage rights.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Film Production, or related field.
Work Experience
- 2–4 years' experience in digital content creation, social media management, or videography.
- Proven experience creating high-engagement video content across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Experience in shooting, lighting, and editing videos independently.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong on-camera presence; confident, articulate, and expressive communicator.
- Excellent storytelling and creative direction skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong cinematography and visual composition sense.
- Knowledge of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and content trends.
- Basic graphic design and photography skills are an added advantage.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.
