The Role

Our client is seeking meticulous and detail-oriented Treasury Reconciliation Officers to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately transferring financial journals from various partner banks into the company's internal systems. The position requires precision, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. NB: Please note that this is a 3-month contract (Hybrid setup) that may or may not be renewed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accurately transfer journals from external banks into internal financial systems
  • Verify and reconcile journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Track, escalate, and clear reconciling items within required timelines
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure proper transaction documentation
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors promptly
  • Collaborate with other departments to support seamless data integration
  • Prepare routine reports on journal transfers and data integrity
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements to strengthen reconciliation controls
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within banking or financial services
  • Proficiency with financial systems and databases
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • High integrity and commitment to confidentiality
  • A team player who can collaborate across departments
