Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Security Specialist located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Network Security Specialist will be responsible for managing and securing enterprise networks, implementing cybersecurity measures, and ensuring the overall protection of information systems. The daily tasks include network administration, maintaining network security protocols, troubleshooting network issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve security infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Network Administration and Network Security
  • Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Information Security practices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in the ICT industry is highly beneficial
