- Customer Experience & Office Operations Associate
Full-time (1-year renewable) | Nairobi
Role Overview:
As the Customer Experience & Office Operations Associate, you'll be the heartbeat of our daily operations; ensuring smooth office management while creating an excellent experience for our customers and artisans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, artisans, and visitors (calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins).
- Handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain organized and efficient office operations; cleanliness, supplies, and display setup.
- Coordinate artisan pickups, customer drop-offs, packaging, and dispatch.
- Keep accurate CRM records of customer and artisan interactions.
- Support team meetings, documentation, and administrative tasks.
Ideal Candidate:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Admin, Customer Service, or related field.
- 1–2 years' experience in office admin or customer-facing roles (or willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy with tools like Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, and CRMs.
Professional, dependable, and passionate about African craftsmanship.
Marketing Associate
Full-time (1-year renewable) | Nairobi
Role Overview:
As the Junior Marketing Associate, you'll help tell the stories that bring Mawu Africa to life; creating inspiring digital content, running campaigns, and driving engagement across our channels.
If you love visual storytelling, social media, and culture, this role is perfect for you
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging photo, video, and written content for social media and email campaigns.
- Execute content calendars and track performance (reach, engagement, conversions).
- Write blogs and artisan stories that showcase African craftsmanship.
- Support the BD team with marketing materials and client campaigns.
- Manage social media engagement (comments, DMs, posts).
- Stay up to date with trends in digital marketing and creative storytelling.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Media.
- 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media.
- Strong writing, design, and creative storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or video editing tools
- Passionate about culture, design, and impact storytelling.
