is a pioneering nonprofit organization advocating for awareness, care, and empowerment of persons living with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions across Kenya and the region.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fundraising Specialist based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Fundraising The Fundraising Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing innovative fundraising strategies to grow the Foundation's resource base. This role requires a dynamic, creative professional with proven success in grant writing, donor cultivation, and partnership development.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Fundraising, Event Planning, and Donor Management.
Proficiency in digital fundraising tools, CRM systems, and online giving platforms. - Experience with Proposal Writing and Grant Writing
- Strong Research, Data Analysis, and Reporting skills
- Knowledge of Stakeholder Relationship Building and Partnership Development
- Proficiency in Communication, Networking, and Interpersonal Skills
- Experience in non-profit, charity-based, or mission-driven organizations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or a related field
- Adaptable, goal-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Fundraising, Development Studies, or related field.
- At least
3–5 years of proven fundraising or grant management experience
, preferably in the health or nonprofit sector. - Demonstrated success in developing donor relationships and securing funding.
- Excellent writing, research, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
