Job Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager to take ownership of Peach's product strategy and execution. This is a high impact role at the intersection of customer needs, business growth, and technology.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on builder excited to shape the roadmap, own the delivery cycle, and create products that transform the automotive experience in Kenya. You will work closely with the product engineering team, marketing, customer success, Inspection, Fleet etc and leadership to develop and launch impactful solutions that scale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own and maintain the product roadmap in alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on user insights, and market trends.
- Adjust roadmap priorities dynamically based on impact and feedback.
2. Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Lead the end to end product lifecycle from discovery and design to launch and iteration.
- Collaborate close-functionally with product engineering, sales, inspection, marketing, and other teams to deliver impactful solutions on time.
- Maintain product documentation and release notes to ensure team wide knowledge sharing. .
3. Customer & Market Insights
- Establish feedback loops and conduct interviews, surveys, and data analysis to gather customer insights.
- Track market and competitor trends to inform product positioning and innovation.
- Translate Insights into actionable product opportunities.
4. Business Growth & Partnerships
- Identify new business models, monetization strategies and partnership opportunities.
- Support commercial teams by building product features that drive acquisition, retention and revenue.
- Help optimize user flows and sales funnels from a product perspective.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Communicate product goals, milestones, and progress to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Define and track KPIs to measure product performance and customer Impact.
- Present regular updates and insights that influence broader business decision-making.
6. Team Collaboration and Culture
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager and other leads to align on technical feasibility, timelines, and sprint planning.
- Contribute to the hiring, onboarding, and development of product team members as the function scales.
- Model collaboration and ownership in cross-functional projects.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in product management or related technical roles, with at least 1 year leading product development.
- Proven experience building and launching products, ideally in Cloud, SaaS, marketplaces, or supply chain environments.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience in multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing.
- Knowledge of automotive, marketplace, or emerging markets is a plus.
