Advertised Salary:
Minimum of $1,314 per credit hour, if advanced degree held in primary academic discipline the minimum rate increases to $1,416 per credit hour. Salary commensurate with qualifications pursuant to the FNTFO/AFT Agreement.

Summary of Position:
The candidate must demonstrate expertise in social and administrative pharmacy. The teaching responsibilities include courses in the PharmD and BSPS degrees at the College of Pharmacy. The candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to student-centered education. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2025 at the earliest. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hire as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site.

Unofficial Transcript 1 (REQUIRED): Applicants must attach a copy of an unofficial transcript of PhD in Pharmacy Administration. Transcript must include Institution name, applicant name, date degree attained, degree awarded. Finalist will be required to submit an official transcript.
Initial Application Review Date:

• Teach courses in the curriculum of the PharmD, BSPS and certificate programs using effective instructional technology and teaching methods that focus on active student engagement, including team teaching environments. Candidate is expected to teach at both the Big Rapids and Grand Rapids campuses.
• Teach and coordinate elective courses in areas of expertise.
• Pursue scholarship, service and professional development activities.
• Maintain the highest level of ethical standards and confidentiality in all duties performed.
• Candidates may be required to teach off-campus or in an online environment.
• Report directly to the Department Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Maintain the confidentiality of designated information.
• Perform all duties in compliance with applicable University policies and procedures and state and federal requirements.
• Cultivates an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty and staff to thrive authentically.
• Operates university motor or personal vehicles safely while carrying out job responsibilities.
• Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives.
• Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.
• Faculty members also have professional responsibilities, which may include but are not limited to keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students) and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (i.e. reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time).
