The Social Media Executive will manage the day-to-day operations of social media accounts, ensuring growth, engagement, and performance. This junior-level role is ideal for a creative individual with strong writing skills and a knack for storytelling, who can create engaging content and leverage platforms to build brand presence. The ideal candidate should also have experience in video editing and design, as these are highly valued for delivering visually compelling content.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management:
  • Manage and monitor all assigned social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn) on a daily basis.
  • Schedule, publish, and manage posts, ensuring alignment with the brand tone and marketing objectives.
  • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and queries across all platforms to foster community engagement.
  • Content Creation:
  • Write and edit creative, compelling, and platform-specific content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Create a variety of content formats, including text posts, graphics, videos, and stories, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
  • Use video editing and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent software) to produce engaging visuals for social media.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media KPIs, including page growth, engagement rate, and share of voice (SOV).
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Emplifi) to derive insights and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor trends and competitor activity to inform strategies for growth and innovation.
  • Campaign Execution:
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to execute social media campaigns in line with overall marketing objectives.
  • Support paid social campaigns by working with media buyers to ensure organic and paid efforts are aligned.
  • Collaboration and Innovation:
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices, introducing innovative ideas for content and engagement.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including design, video production, and strategy, to deliver high-quality campaigns.
  • Provide input on influencer collaborations, helping source and coordinate with potential brand ambassadors.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role, managing social media accounts and creating content.
  • Creative Writing: Exceptional ability to craft engaging, audience-focused copy across various platforms.
  • Content Creation: Proficiency in video editing and graphic design is a strong advantage.
  • Analytics: Familiarity with tools like Meta Insights, Google Analytics, or Emplifi to track and analyze performance.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Tech-Savvy: Up-to-date knowledge of social media tools and platforms, including emerging trends.
