Ideally you must possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial reporting and control for an NGO and impact projects, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across various teams within the organisation.Reporting toFinance Lead (EA) PartnershipsDirect Reports NoneKey Responsibilities Organizational● Analyze actual and projected expenses against direct program costs to predict annual overhead rate for effective management of the project's resources● Use trend and Management Budget to develop monthly projections for overhead expenses● Develop monthly projection of both direct and overhead costs for presentation to the project's stakeholdersFunctional● Maintain Annual Corporate Budget● Prepare periodic fund utilization report● Prepare Quarterly Donor Fund Report● Prepare various financial analysis with respect to the project funds● Ensure All project Expenses are in line with the company's Procurement Policy● Ensure appropriate documentation of project expenses in line with the set guidelinesKey Relationships ● Project Lead● Finance Manager● Head of Finance, Group Partnerships● Bankers● Auditors● Tax consultant● Tax Administrators● Solicitors● Other government parastatalsKPIs to measure success.● Finance analysis methodology implementation● Report turnaround time● Stakeholders satisfactionKey Skills & CompetenciesCompetencies● English language skills is required with excellent written and oral communication skills● Fast paced and able to adapt to changing requirements● Self -motivated, Driven and a strong teamwork ethic● Results -oriented● Ability to go the extra mile when required RequirementsSkills● Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance field● 3+ year's relevant finance and accounting experience● Excellent knowledge of MS office suite with advanced excel skills● Proficient in financial reporting and controls with low learning curve in adapting to new systems/tools● Strong organization, analytical, and coordination skills
