Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tourism Specialist, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Tourism Specialist will be responsible for planning and organizing travel itineraries, offering excellent customer service, and providing travel advice and assistance. Day-to-day tasks include sales and marketing of travel packages, handling customer inquiries, coordinating with travel service providers, and ensuring clients have a seamless travel experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Travel & Tourism and Sales
- Marketing skills related to travel and tourism
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of popular travel destinations and attractions
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
