Vacancy No: KSI/OGVN/2024/1
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The County Secretary shall:

Be secretary to the County Executive Committee
Be the Head of County Public Service.
Be responsible for arranging the business, and keeping the minutes of the County Executive Committee subject to the directions of the County Executive Committee.
Convey the decisions of the County Executive Committee to the appropriate persons or authorities.
Perform any other functions as directed by the County Executive Committee.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

Be a Kenyan Citizen.
Hold a degree from a university recognized in Kenya.
Have at least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience
Have at least five (5) years of experience in a leadership position at the senior management level in a public service or private sector organization
Must meet the requirements of leadership and integrity as prescribed in Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Qualification as a certified secretary
Knowledge and experience in policymaking
Ability to transform political vision/manifesto into implementable Government Policies
Capability to head teams towards institutional systems and structure development
Proven track record in Human Resource Management
