Qualification & Other Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

• Previous experience in a quality control role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in noodles production.

• Familiarity with food safety regulations, quality management systems, and HACCP principles.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions based on quality metrics.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey quality expectations and collaborate with various teams.

• Attention to detail to identify subtle variations in product quality and process parameters.

• Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.

• Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams in a production environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and quality control requirements.

• Relevant certifications in quality assurance or food safety would be advantageous.


Roles & Responsibilities

• The Quality Analyst for the Noodles Production Plant is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the manufacturing process. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve consistent product excellence.

• Implement and enforce quality control processes throughout the noodles production, from raw material inspection to finished product.

• Develop and execute comprehensive inspection procedures for noodles, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.

• Collect samples at various production stages and conduct relevant tests, including texture, taste, and visual assessments.

• Monitor and evaluate the production process to identify potential quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials, conducting regular audits and inspections.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, including test results, inspection reports, and any deviations from quality standards.

• Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to address quality-related concerns and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices to enhance awareness and compliance.

• Investigate and manage non-conforming products, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.

• Monitor and enforce hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe production environment.

• Stay informed about relevant food safety regulations and standards, ensuring the plant's compliance with all applicable requirements.

• Conduct sensory evaluations of noodle products to maintain consistency and meet customer expectations.

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement, participating in root cause analyses.


Salary: Negotiable based on the Qualification and Experience of the Candidate with an indicative range of Gross kshs. 80,000 to 150,000 per month.
