The Role
As a Sales and Pre-Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of potential clients, presenting our solutions effectively, and providing pre-sales support to ensure successful integration and implementation. This position requires a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and backup technologies.
Responsibilities
Sales

Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and industry partnerships.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the requirements and pain points of potential clients.
Present and demonstrate our enterprise IT Infrastructure solutions to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close sales and meet revenue targets.
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts from our distributors, to design and deliver comprehensive solutions that meet clients' needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT decision-makers, C-suite executives, and procurement professionals.
Provide ongoing support to clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for their IT needs.

Pre-sales:

Serve as a technical expert during the pre-sales process, providing in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
Work closely with the management team to develop customized solutions that address the specific needs of clients.
Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials to showcase the capabilities of our offerings.
Assist clients with technical inquiries, feasibility assessments, and solution design.
Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales support.

Market Research and Analysis:

Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings in the market.
Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement, up-selling, and cross-selling.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market research findings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is a mandatory
Proven experience in pre-sales roles is mandatory.
Familiarity with partner ecosystems is highly desirable.
Strong technical background with knowledge of VMware, Netapp, Veeam, Sophos, and other relevant technologies is mandatory.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
