The Android Developer role will have the following responsibilities:
App Development- Design and develop cutting-edge applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to define, create, and deliver new features.
- Address bug fixes and optimize application performance.
- Update and enhance existing Android applications to ensure compatibility with the latest Android versions and devices.
- Detect and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Ensure applications maintain high quality and responsiveness.
- Engage with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to grasp project requirements effectively.
- Coordinate closely with the QA team to execute comprehensive application testing.
- Participate in code evaluations to uphold code quality and enforce best practices.
- Offer valuable feedback to team members.
- Document codebase and technical blueprints for seamless knowledge transfer and future upkeep.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, Android OS updates, and upcoming technologies.
- Engage actively in knowledge-sharing sessions among team members.
The Android Developer role demands the following prerequisites:
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of professional Android development exposure
- Skilled in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Proficiency in Android Studio and Android SDK
- Thorough comprehension of the Android app development process
- Strong grasp of integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles and optimal practices.
- Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g. Flutter, React Native).
- Proficient in mobile application security best practices.
- Hands-on involvement with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso.
- Successfully launched apps on the Google Play Store
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Exhibit a strong work ethic
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficient in planning and organization
