Summary:
  • Carry an annual bookings quota within your designated territory.
  • Travel regionally for client engagement, industry conferences, and attend company events twice a year.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and effectiveness in prospecting new business accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and collaborating with colleagues and partners on account strategy.
  • Comfortable selling enterprise software, open source, cloud, virtualization, container technologies, and technical software solutions to senior enterprise levels.

What to Expect in Your Day:
  • Represent the company and its solutions in your territory.
  • Develop and implement a territory plan focusing on outreach and prospecting.
  • Generate new pipeline through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events.
  • Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual booking targets by closing contracts.
  • Be diligent and take initiative in meeting tactical and strategic goals.
  • Nurture customer relationships throughout the sales cycle stages.
  • Collaborate with field engineers to propose customer-focused solutions.
  • Identify growth opportunities with customer success teams.
  • Maintain precise pipeline data and forecasts using Salesforce.
  • Establish strong professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
Qualifications We Seek:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or computer science.
  • Knowledge of open source technology and solutions.
  • Attention to detail with efficient follow-up skills.
  • Prior experience in enterprise software or technology sales planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and acquiring new accounts.
  • Self-discipline and drive to excel in a remote team environment.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, along with other relevant languages for your target markets.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, industry events, and company gatherings.
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Specific expertise in verticals like finance, telecommunications, healthcare, energy, public sector, or technology.
  • Past experience in speaking at conferences or industry events.
