Administrative Assistant Position in Kenya
We are looking for a proactive and organized Administrative and Commercial Assistant to be part of our team. If you're someone who pays attention to details, has strong organizational skills, and can juggle multiple tasks in a lively environment, you might be the one we're seeking.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a neat and safe reception area by following procedures and regulations.
- Assisting all team members with their daily tasks as needed.
- Handling general office tasks like photocopying, binding documents, and mailing.
- Managing electronic and physical filing systems and retrieving documents when necessary.
- Performing data entry tasks.
- Handling incoming phone calls, visitors, and clients professionally.
- Providing information and data upon request.
- Creating and editing various documents like reports, emails, and memos.
- Organizing meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers.
- Ensuring equipment is functioning properly and arranging for maintenance or repairs.
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail.
- Resolving administrative issues and drafting responses to inquiries.
- Supporting the team by achieving set goals together.
- Editing and formatting project reports.
- Performing any other tasks delegated by supervisors.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a business setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and precision in all assignments.
- Knowledge of commercial practices and procedures is advantageous.
