JOB SUMMARY

  • MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study
  • Professional Qualifications: ISTQB / ISTQB Agile Tester Certification / Certified Test Engineer (CSTE) / Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) / Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) / CMSQ (Certified Manager of Software Quality) / Project Management PRINCE II (Practitioner) / AgilePM / PMI-ACP / Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM) / Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Master's Degree: Business Administration or Project Management
  • Experience: Software Quality Assurance (5 years), IT Projects (4 years), Emerging Technologies (e.g. Mobile, Internet Banking, Cloud, Microservices etc - 2 years), Software Applications & Support (2 years), Software Development (2 years)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Champion and coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams, ensuring completeness, precision, and testability of business requirements
  • Define and create overall project test strategy/test plan, identify test resources, estimate test effort, and ensure test strategy adherence
  • Develop, document, and maintain manual and automated functional test cases and other test artifacts
  • Collaborate with business units and project teams to execute and validate test cases
  • Tune SQA processes, adopt tools, and define re-usable templates aligned with SQA Framework
  • Define test process, conduct Test Readiness Assessment, establish test beds, and ensure availability for all testing activities
  • Engage in various non-functional testing activities
  • Prepare, share, and review test results, report defects and develop test acceptance reports
  • Perform post-deployment sanity and regression tests, post-implementation reviews, and participate in process improvement strategies
