Benefits Verifier role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and knowledge of healthcare insurance terminologies to ensure accuracy and completeness of medical billing information.

ADEC Kenya Services EPZ Limited, a leading provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) services, seeks a Benefits Verifier to join its dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update medical billing information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Contact clients for missing data elements or information on claims.
  • Verify information relayed by clients to address concerns and queries.
  • Review explanation of benefits to ensure correctness of given information.
  • Utilize various references to validate accuracy of inputted information in the system.
  • Prepare and monitor thorough accounting of status updates and documents transactions.
  • Analyze and classify patient/claim information before encoding.
  • Actively listen and respond to customers, providing quality service in every call.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience as a voice call center agent/Customer Service Representative handling inbound and outbound calls.
  • Minimum 1+ years of outstanding phone Communication skills (Inbound & Outbound) experienced in Call Centre role in English.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance terminologies.
  • Familiarity with navigating insurance portals.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with names and numbers.
  • Basic technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
