About the Role
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Social Impact Practice Area, you will be instrumental in winning, delivering, and executing highly impactful donor and philanthropic-funded international development projects in low and middle-income countries.
You will work closely with a global team, providing industry expertise and insights for the development sector, particularly focusing on supporting BCG in securing and carrying out programs for major bilateral donors, multilateral donors, and foundations.
Your role involves developing content for BCG tenders and programs, managing tender processes, and contributing to project delivery and knowledge management.
You will actively shape BCG's Development Impact offer by participating in business development activities, knowledge sharing, and engaging in sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and expand a knowledge library of BCG capabilities, tools, and experience in the Development Impact sector.
- Lead and contribute to bids with clients such as USAID, FCDO, World Bank, BMGF.
- Manage and participate in program execution within the development sector.
- Deliver original analysis and insights for sector positioning and client projects.
- Support BCG teams and clients to achieve development impact and commercial objectives.
The Social Impact practice is rapidly growing at BCG, collaborating with various organizations to create sustainable impact for society, nations, and businesses through a multitude of projects annually.
This entails leveraging thematic expertise in economic development, climate, health, and education, along with the global capacity, in-market presence, and proprietary tools of BCG.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred, in areas such as economics, political science, or international relations.
- 2+ years of consulting experience in donor-funded consulting and business development, or 3-4+ years of industry experience.
- Strong expertise in business development and project management with leading donors and foundations.
- Technical proficiency in organizational design, talent development, and change management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work in global collaborative environments.
