JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. The Senior Network Engineer will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with other IT teams to support business operations.QualificationsProfessional Experience & Certifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and administration.Proven experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting in large, complex environments.Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing datacenter networks.Strong knowledge of data center technologies, including switching, routing, load balancing, and storage networking.Experience with IP telephony (IPT) systems and collaboration tools.Familiarity with VoIP technologies, unified communications, and video conferencing solutions.Proven experience in network security practices and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.Strong understanding of network security protocols and best practices.Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher (e.g., CCIE).Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) is a plus.Any relevant cloud networking certifications (e.g., Azure Networking Engineer Associate) would be an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and deploy scalable, high-performance network solutions.Implement and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.Diagnose and resolve hardware and software networking issues.Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining security measures.Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and audits.Collaborate with the security team to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.Maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks and systems.Prepare and deliver reports on network performance, issues, and resolutions.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.Collaborate with other IT teams to support and integrate network requirements for various projects and initiatives.Assist in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and procedures.
