As a Specialist in Software Application Support, you will have the chance to work with innovative software applications and collaborate with a diverse group of skilled individuals. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to our ambitious mission of safeguarding the planet's most vulnerable ecosystems.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience (3-5 year's) in various technical positions, ideally in a software development roleIn-depth knowledge of information technology systems and applicationsSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.Familiarity with environmental and sustainability issues is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage one or more software applications, developing a deep technical understanding of its operation and become intermittently familiar with itDevelop a good understanding of how a modern software platform operates.Successfully implement and maintain the software application, associated support processes and procedures to optimize efficiencyCompete in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively to meet strict deadlinesSupport business and technical colleagues in identifying and prioritizing requested configuration changes, developing and managing the change back logAs appropriate, challenge change requests to ensure and maintain both the integrity and overall performance of the applicationDevelop a close working relationship with the application provider support and development teamsWork with internal product teams and technical leads to understand scope, timing and prioritization of product development activities that may impact the application
