Finance Business Partner

Kenya Commercial Bank Limited is a registered non-operating holding company that began its operations as a licensed banking institution on January 1, 2016. The company oversees KCB Kenya, established on January 1, along with all KCB's regional units in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, and South Sudan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee business planning, budgeting cycle, and periodic reviews with corporate-wide reforecasting.
- Prepare budget Management Information and communicate it to the division leadership team for task prioritization.
- Provide thorough analysis, insights, and options from various data sources to facilitate sound decision-making.
- Review IFRS 9 model outputs to inform impairment drivers for the division's financial performance.
- Summarize actual performance vs. budget, conduct variance analysis, and re-forecast full-year performance.
- Offer corporate input for monthly, quarterly, and external reporting.
- Define financial monitoring processes, source reporting data, and generate reports for effective management control.
- Undertake strategic and tactical commercial analysis of business opportunities and threats with business unit leaders.
- Design and provide ad hoc performance reporting and analytics for various business requirements.
- Establish a performance management culture through robust budgets, metrics, and corporate targets implementation.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field from a recognized institution. A Master's degree is advantageous.
- Certified Public Accountant qualification.
- Minimum of 8 years of finance work experience, with management experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Analysis & Performance Management, Stakeholder Management, and People Management.
