About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team in Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing programs that promote women's empowerment, leadership, and online safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to program planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide day-to-day support for program activities and deliverables, including research, writing, and communication.
  • Conduct research on topics relevant to women's online safety and other initiatives.
  • Draft knowledge products, such as reports, articles, and fact sheets.
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings, workshops, trainings, and events.
  • Manage procurement processes and ensure compliance with IREX policies and donor regulations.
  • Coordinate program visibility efforts and public communications.
  • Support relationship management with local, regional, and national networks and organizations.
  • Provide business development support and ensure fiscal and performance activities comply with IREX policies and funder regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international development or international relations.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in international development, preferably in areas related to women's empowerment and online safety.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong experience in financial management, grant support, and procurement.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong cross-cultural sensitivity and commitment to inclusivity.
  • Very good command of English language.
