Job Title:

Strategic Operations Manager

The role of Strategic Operations Manager is an essential part of the organization and involves providing execution support to the Director, coordinating team-wide communications, and propelling special projects. The successful candidate will excel as a generalist, motivated by results.

This position reports directly to the Director and requires strong communication skills, experience working in fast-paced environments, and a proven track record of project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic projects: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies and deliver special projects that align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
  • Team management: Support direct reports on their professional development and daily work, providing guidance and resources as needed.
  • Internal team communication: Manage routine activities within the team, including OKRs design and tracking, KPI reporting, and regular updates to senior management on operations.
  • Talent acquisition: Contribute to building the team through strategic hiring.
  • Department efficiency and process improvement: Identify and streamline bottlenecks in internal operations and manage tracking of important departmental controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of working experience with 3+ years of strategy or management consulting experience
  • A background in managing complex projects and coordinating across multiple teams in a fast-growing organization, and a propensity for innovation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment
  • Experience building and maintaining simple to complex spreadsheets (can perform complex functions)
  • High fluency and experience engaging directly with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • A Bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement for this role
  • Fluency in English with an ability to work in rural environments
