Financial Specialist

Job Description:

The Financial Professional will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's financial operations. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Business Analysis, the ideal candidate will analyze business opportunities, develop financial models, create management presentations, and support deal execution while handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Business Opportunity Analysis:

Analyzing business prospects for new land sales, development projects, and other opportunities, presenting findings to senior management for approval.

• Financial Modeling and Planning:

Collaborating on creating and maintaining business plans and financial models for real estate developments, including core components such as power, water, and telecoms.

• Presentation Creation:

Collaborating on creating high-quality presentations for senior management, utilizing financial data and visual aids to communicate insights and updates effectively.

• Strategic Development:

Contributing to developing and implementing strategies for both existing and new businesses under the guidance of senior team members.

• Investor Relations Management:

Assisting in maintaining investor information memoranda for real estate and other projects, helping to ensure accuracy and relevance.

• Deal Origination and Execution:

Supporting deal origination and execution processes, contributing to various stages as directed by more experienced team members.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, math, physics, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with valuation methods and principles.
• Accounting knowledge, understanding general accounting principles and practices.
• Solid understanding of finance and financial markets with the ability to apply this knowledge in practical scenarios.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
