About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Executive - Corporate Events to join our team at Employd Staffing Solutions Ltd. As a Business Development Executive - Corporate Events, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the corporate events space.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients in Kenya and international markets
- Cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other professional platforms to generate leads
- Develop tailored proposals and pitches to convert prospects into clients
- Schedule and participate in virtual and in-person meetings with international clients
- Build and nurture strong relationships with international clients, ensuring long-term partnerships
- Act as the primary contact for client queries, providing prompt and professional responses
- Provide insights on competitor activity and recommend strategies to enhance Employd Staffing Solutions Ltd's international presence
- Track outreach activities and sales performance using CRM tools
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on outreach progress, lead conversions, and client engagement
- Provide feedback on challenges and recommend solutions to improve outreach effectiveness
Requirements:
- Passionate about sales and marketing with at least two years of successful work history in marketing corporate training courses, corporate events, or corporate real estate services
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to easily engage with clients and close deals
- Ability to think critically and come up with creative solutions to complex problems
- Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
