Job OverviewWe partner with clients in various industries and sectors to provide expert legal services, including commercial law advocacy and dispute resolution. As a key member of our litigation department, you will play a critical role in advising clients on complex legal matters and representing them in court proceedings.
About the Role
- Meeting with clients to understand their legal needs and providing expert advice accordingly.
- Providing technical guidance on commercial law matters, including drafting legal opinions and conducting due diligence on litigation cases.
- Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, precedents, and case law to build strong cases for clients.
- Drafting and reviewing various legal documents, including pleadings and settlement agreements.
- Representing clients in court hearings, motions, and trial proceedings.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve success in high-value litigation cases.
Key Qualifications
- Two (2) years post-admission experience in a busy law firm.
- An upper 2nd Bachelor's of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
- A valid practicing certificate.
