About the Position

  • This is a senior-level accounting position that requires a high level of expertise in financial management and accounting.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • This includes consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring accurate intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial report reviews.
  • Additionally, they will perform regular bank reconciliations and collaborate with the treasury team for cash flow management.
  • They will oversee cash management, including forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
  • The Senior Accountant will ensure proper documentation and accounting for related party transactions and intercompany balances.
  • Maintaining internal controls over accounting and treasury processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations is also a key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, focusing on risk management.
  • They will also ensure tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and payroll tax filings.
  • Preparing audit schedules and assisting external auditors during annual audits is another critical task.
  • The ideal candidate will identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting and treasury functions.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior accountants, providing guidance and professional development support is also an important aspect of the role.
