About the Role

The Global Internship Program (GIP) at IFC's MAS Africa offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of IFC and the broader World Bank Group.

This program encourages individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas to IFC's work, while improving skills in a diverse and highly stimulating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automation solutions for MS Office reports using Microsoft Copilot.
  • Automate repetitive reporting tasks, enabling real-time updates and data visualization.
  • Develop dynamic templates for recurring reports in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of automated solutions, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master's degree level program.
  • Preferred field of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous work experience.
  • Proven experience in automating MS Office reports using Microsoft Copilot or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
