Our client’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 team is a leader in implementing Microsoft software for medium to large organisations. They provide their clients with the ability to keep up with the digital world by implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 software line.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented D365 Finance & Operations technical architect who will use expertise and experience to realise tasks based on functional designs in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, particularly building and testing new and existing functionalities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business area within a market leading firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work alongside Solution and Senior Technical Architects to create high quality design and sustainable client solutions and project documentation;
  2. Implementation of technical solutions for customer requirements in D365FO
  3. Analyse and resolve issues within the ERP system
  4. Participate in development, integrations, product support, and platform updates
  5. Write and manage technical documents
  6. Ensure all design/technical documentation is kept up to date during the development process
  7. Work in an Agile approach depending on the business requirements
  8. Work with both on-shore and off/near-shore development teams
  9. Deliver all development work as per Microsoft Business Solutions standards, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully per the project plan: on time and on budget;
  10. Be an active member of technical and design working groups within the practice
  11. Adhere to best practice and KPMG technical standards during all development
  12. Keep team and project Manager updated with progress
  13. Perform code reviews.
  14. Help and mentor developers.
  15. Assist in Technical Interviews.
  16. Identify any risks and issues early and raise through the appropriate governance channels
  17. To carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the Practice management team.
  18. Represent MBS in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  19. The Employee is required to follow our client's Information Security Policies (ISP and ISMP) at all times.
