Azure Cloud Technical Architect Role

Our client's Microsoft Business Solutions team is a leading provider of Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organizations. They offer their clients the ability to stay ahead in the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft's M365, Azure, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 software solutions.

The Azure Technical Architect is responsible for designing and delivering Azure solutions for clients. This includes managing the end-to-end delivery process, working with other architects and consultants, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

  • This role requires a strong background in infrastructure, virtualization technologies, or applications.
  • Experience with Azure IaaS (virtual machines, storage, networking, security) is essential.
  • Azure Backup & Recovery Services, Azure Governance (Blueprints, policies, tagging, cost management), Azure SQL Databases (Managed Instances, PaaS, IaaS), and Azure Security (Zero Trust, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure AD, AIP) are also required.
  • Proven experience with Azure Serverless and integration (Batch, Function, Logic Apps, EventGrid) and Azure Containers (AKS, ACI, ACR) is necessary.

Beyond technical skills, this role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to influence and manage relationships, and strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening). The ideal candidate will be able to present information concisely, communicate at all levels, and produce high-quality presentations.
