The Guest Services Director is responsible for ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience. This role involves leading a team of food and beverage staff to deliver high-quality service, exceeding guest expectations and maintaining a positive reputation for the establishment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of food and beverage staff to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional service.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, address concerns, and provide feedback.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve service standards, menu knowledge, and customer service skills.
- Ensure that all dining areas are well-organized, clean, and presentable at all times.
- Monitor and adjust service pace to meet guest demand and optimize table turnover.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- Monitor food and beverage presentation, portion sizes, and temperature to ensure consistency and adherence to established standards.
- Address any deviations from standards promptly, providing feedback and coaching to staff as needed.
