East Africa Integrity and Risk Control Specialist

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Risk Control Specialist, focusing on the East Africa region. This role requires strong expertise in business integrity, risk management, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Evaluating and mitigating integrity risks in transactions and projects across East Africa;
  • Providing strategic advice to business teams on business integrity-related matters;
  • Drafting disclosures and advising on contractual provisions related to integrity risks;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance CRG's delivery of services.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:A Juris Doctorate (JD), Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification;A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in providing advice on international business transactions, project finance, investment funds, or litigation, including experience advising on business integrity-related matters;Strong working knowledge in supporting the origination, design, implementation, management, oversight, and monitoring of investment projects;Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated track record as a team member on complex projects and programs;Ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, and credibly represent IFC with clients and stakeholders;Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships.
