Occupational Health Manager Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing occupational health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing guidance on risk management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Implementing Occupational Health Programs: The incumbent will develop and implement written programs for the office, including conducting risk assessments, prioritizing work based on team objectives, investigating incidents, and assisting work teams to implement hazard controls.
  • Providing Guidance and Support: The Occupational Health Manager will provide guidance and support to employees on occupational health and safety matters, including training and education on OHS tools such as SDS databases, training databases, and injury reporting processes.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: The incumbent will collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, clients, and vendors, to identify and work on improvement opportunities for the program, and facilitate program communications and provide regular status reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health and Safety or Related Field: The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in health and safety or a related field.
  • 8-10 Years of Experience: The incumbent will have 8-10 years of experience in occupational health and safety, with a strong background in risk management, quality assurance, and adult learning.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to develop effective professional communications.
