About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our goal of becoming a leader in environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will work closely with our facilities management team to identify opportunities for reducing energy consumption, improving waste management, and promoting sustainable practices throughout our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Environmental Upgrades and Improvement Projects: Assist in developing multi-year plans and budgets for environmental upgrades and improvement projects, with a focus on energy, water, wastewater, and waste management services.
  • Technical Expertise: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide technical expertise on environmental sustainability best practices throughout facilities and operations, including research, feasibility studies, design proposals, and cost estimates.
  • Project Management: Support project management of environmental infrastructure projects across energy, water, wastewater, and waste management services, working in close collaboration with technical teams to oversee contracted technical design, construction, operation, and maintenance service providers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in environmental engineering, environmental management, or a related field.
  • Practical experience working as the principal responsible for planning, implementation, and delivery of environmental sustainability infrastructure or engineering projects, with a specific focus on the built environment, energy, water, wastewater, and waste services.
  • Practical experience with planning, coordination, and implementation of an established entity-wide Environmental Management System (EMS) and related certification requirements according to international standards such as ISO 14001:2015.
  • Proficiency in use of REVIT, AutoCAD, or similar software.
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
